Sparking up over Spark!

Tackling the threefold challenge

Spark! 2018 will bring together some of Australia’s leading minds to solve priority problems together. It’s also an opportunity for you to contribute to the ever-expanding conversation on Australia’s energy transition.

The overall theme of Spark! 2018 is the threefold challenge we face; to balance the need to lower emissions, the need for a secure and reliable grid and the need to ensure a just transition, so the most vulnerable in our society are not left behind. All three must be addressed for a balanced economic, energy and social transition.

Centred around the Brunswick Town Hall with satellite locations within walking distance to host the streams across the two days, the program is now available. Conference streams will include discussions on policy and advocacy, overcoming the barriers to solar, tackling energy poverty, community energy, local leadership and the future state of the grid.
