Denise Boyd is the Director of Policy & Campaigns at the Consumer Action Law Centre, Victoria. She has over twenty years experience in the not for profit sector, and brings a strong skills base in strategic planning and delivery to her work with Consumer Action. She discovered a passion for advocacy and social justice after studying science at university, beginning her campaign career with Greenpeace in the early ‘90s. She has worked for the International Fund for Animal Welfare (UK and Australia) and the Australian Conservation Foundation before starting her current role with Consumer Action in mid-2013. Denise has extensive experience of political advocacy at the domestic and international level, representing environment and animal welfare interests on Australian government and non-governmental delegations to a number of international forums.
